My son found this local gem doing a Google search for a local Costa Rican restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised by the large menu of diverse dishes from Central America. We popped in on a Sunday afternoon while running errands in Trenton and we were so glad we chose this spot! The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the service was great. We sat near the bar, so it was a little noisy between the music and the soccer game that was playing, but we still enjoyed the atmosphere. My son ordered the papusas platter which was the first time I've had this dish (we all shared our food), and I think I'll be ordering this next time I visit. Really good! I had the Gallo Pinto platter which brought me back to my trip to Costa Rica 2 years ago! Everything on my plate tasted like authentic Costa Rican cuisine. My husband had tacos which he said were tasty. I had a lemon margarita. My husband had the melon agua fresca and my son the Jamaica agua fresca, both were good. We ordered Tres Leches for dessert and it was perfectly made. We enjoyed our first dining experience at Tikal Restaurant & Lounge and we will return the next time we're in the Trenton area.

Gucci was here this the most beautiful place you haven’t be I am not taking the place I am taking about the food and service beautiful girls great service food is authentic Guatemalan very cheap depending in person I normally speed lest then 50 dollars en este lugar Esta bien protegido aqui no entra federales de ice nada por eso es el lugar MAs seguro venga com toda su familia sim nun un problema de eso

Enjoyed their food for Taste Trenton restaurant crawl. The vibe is friendly, the food both delicious and the portions are gargantuan. In particular, the tilapia was fantastic, the picada unique. Drinks were fabulous and reminiscent of a tropical island.

Newly opened, completely renovated. Wonderfully designed. Friendly staff. Music can be loud. On this visit I was with a group of 11, Trenton Eat Local Club. Food is fresh prepared so it may take a few minutes, be patient. Full service bar, good margaritas. We started off with house made chips and salsa. My meal was Adoba Seasoned Pork strips delicious! Served with white rice and black beans, small salad.
